Future Visions: CODA

Science-Fiction Studio, University of Washington, 2022

It's 2347, 270 years after 'The Big One," and present day Seattle is in ruins. What remains, is laughably the largest man-made island in the continental US: Harbour Island. Once a hub of global commerce, and a symbol of commercial capitalism, now is overrun derelict - but not abandoned. The site is now a techno-refuge for all living beings to help guide the traumatized survivors of every age connect with themselves and their place.

This studio focused on the projection of alternative futurisms for the Puget Sound Region. We started with an investigation of "what is the future?" To which my personal statement is below.
